Rita Lahtinen

Rita Lahtinen (b. 1991) is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher with a PhD in Information Technology (Creative Media Arts) and a Master of Science in Law, Gender and Society. Her practice explores gender, belonging, and participation through visual, material, and socially engaged art, drawing on lived experience to examine cultural practices and identities. With 14 years of experience across creative practice, art direction, and museums, she works at the intersection of art, research, and culture, exploring how technology and gender shape contemporary life and possible futures.
